"Patagonia, Los Glaciares National Park, Perito Moreno Glacier, El Calafate" is my 6th travel guide in the "wilderness explorer" series (first was about "Peninsula Valdes" Natural Reserve, second - "Torres del Paine" National Park, third - "Tierra del Fuego" National Park, fourth - Iceland, fifth - "Landmannalaugar", Iceland), which I decided to write after I made 1x expedition to Patagonia (Argentina and Chile) and 4x expeditions to Iceland in 2015 - 2018 years. The book contains 60 GPS coordinates of important to know places, 60 website links, covering all the important campsites, hostels, hotels, viewpoints, 20 hiking trails, key sightseeing, it has 2 detailed maps, and 20 photographs I made in March-April 2017. The travel guide first describes how to get in/out the "Los Glaciares" National Park and El Calafate, all park's updated rules and prices, then I in very detail describe 20 different hikes in the park and around, including: official "Perito Moreno" Glacier hikes; ice walking hikes; Lago Roca and Cerro Cristal hikes; Estancias "La Usina", "Nibepo Aike", "Hosteria Alta Vista"and "Rio Mitre" hikes; very remote Estancia "Cristina" hikes to the 170 million years old "Fossil Canyon" and the "Upsala" Glacier view points; "Reserva Laguna Nimez" hikes - a famous bird reserve (>80 birds); "Walichu" Caves hike, where you can see ancient paleolithic ( 4,000 years) paintings in sandstone rock survived till modern time.
